Guess what! I do stuff other than surf… ;-)

I made two of these from a tutorial online, one in a dog print fabric which turned out even more adorable! Thicker fabrics work best, or maybe you could do a lining. I'm not much more than a beginner with a sewing machine, as you might be able to tell… This took me an hour and is as fun as going for a surf. No, I'm lying there!

Big blown out surf on the north coast, wish I'd chance to go the south! Ah well. At least it's not fucking flat, I suppose.

Heading south for the bank hol weekend, can't wait! Just me, van, dog, boards and books. There should be a few waves and even some sun. I hope to spot Bilbo the lifeguarding dog as well!

Found in charity shop. There's some nice offcuts in Oxfam too but I'm not paying their prices!!

Another round of antibiotics. There's some surf on the south coast but I won't be getting in it. I just hope I can make it home this weekend what with the chest and the floods!

While out of the water I'm reading loads and crafting. Pics of my newest creations to bore you soon. Seeing as i'm not surfing this blog will have to reflect the other stuff I do…Just finished Gidget which was, well, strange. Didn't like it that much as I just didn't identify with the heroine - i hear enough boys boys boys from my mates, thanks.
